Both the Free and Pro version have been updated today. The free version contains a fix that guest users can no longer post messages if the shoutbox is only open for registered users.
The Pro version also contains this fix, plus some other features to help fighting the spam. You can now set the amount of tries for the captcha function. It's also possible to set the amount of links a guest user can post. Finally it's possible to have links to user's CB profile.

I ve installed the shoutbox and were able to use it. But I cant see the scroller. It just disappeared no matter I vae put more messages inside. Please advise.
